Key moments

Ospreay finally beats Okada with the title on the line

The main event was Ospreay's first championship win over Okada. Okada hit two Rainmakers and went for a third, which Ospreay countered before landing the Hidden Blade with his elbow pad pulled down for the pin. The finish was clean. Ospreay bowed to Okada afterwards, and Okada, still on the mat, gave a thumbs-up and shook his hand.

Before the bell, Ospreay told the crowd: "Paris, are you ready? 'Cause I'm ready! The Billy Goat is about to enter this building and show everybody why I'm the World Champion!"

Allin bleeds and keeps the TNT title

Allin had called Fletcher out for this match on Collision the previous weekend, and it got rough early. Fletcher dived over the top onto the timekeeper's table and later hit a brainbuster on an exposed turnbuckle that left Allin bleeding. Allin came back with a Scorpion Death Lock and won with the Coffin Drop.

Thekla goes after Moné

Moné retained against Queen Aminata, who had challenged her for the match on Collision a few days earlier. Toxic Thekla attacked the champion with a spear once it was over, and Moné got out of the ring before Thekla could follow up with a stomp. AEW has since made Thekla's challenge for the Women's World Championship official for WrestleDream.

Bandido holds off Kofi as the trios feud grows

The opener ended with Bandido hitting the 21 Plex after a brawl at ringside pulled the officials' attention away. Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana were in Kofi's corner, with Hangman Adam Page and Brody King backing Bandido. That split carries straight into WrestleDream, where AEW has booked Strickland and The New Level to defend the AEW World Trios Championship against Page, King and Bandido in a two out of three falls match.

The Don Callis Family beats Moxley

Davis and Doyle won the tag match by pinning Kidd,. Moxley looked frustrated afterwards. The Death Riders kept an empty chair at ringside for the absent Pac. Doyle had lost to Moxley in a Continental Championship eliminator on the October 3 Collision.

Samoa Joe qualifies for Clockwork Carnage

Joe beat Perry with a muscle buster off the top rope and qualified for Clockwork Carnage, the eight-competitor match AEW announced for WrestleDream with the AEW World Championship on the line. AEW describes it as a hybrid of the Casino Gauntlet and an Iron Man match.

What AEW announced for Collision

AEW named two matches for the Grand Slam: France edition of Collision during Tuesday's broadcast. Chris Jericho faces Nick Wayne in a rematch of their September 16 meeting, and The Young Bucks defend the AEW Tag Team Championship against The Dogs. The show airs on Saturday, October 10 on TNT and HBO Max at 8pm Eastern.

Collision taping results (spoilers)

Collision was taped in Paris after Dynamite. These results come from reports from the arena and have not yet aired, so AEW has not confirmed them on television.

  • AEW Tag Team Championship: The Young Bucks (c) beat The Dogs (Clark Connors and David Finlay). Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher reportedly attacked the champions after the match.
  • Nick Wayne beat Chris Jericho.
  • Swerve Strickland beat Carlie Bravo.
  • AEW National Championship: Andrade El Idolo (c) beat Michael Oku. Tommaso Ciampa confronted Andrade afterwards, and the two are reported to be heading for a title match at WrestleDream.
  • Clockwork Carnage qualifier: Mike Bailey beat Lee Moriarty.
  • Alex Windsor and Jamie Hayter, with Kris Statlander and Harley Cameron, beat Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Lena Kross and Megan Bayne in an eight-woman tag.
  • Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, Daniel Garcia and Marina Shafir beat Willow Nightingale, Roderick Strong, Kyle O'Reilly and Orange Cassidy.

If the taping airs as reported, Bailey joins Joe in Clockwork Carnage, and Wayne evens the score with Jericho after their September match.

WrestleDream so far

Coming out of Paris, AEW has announced Clockwork Carnage for the world title, Thekla against Moné for the Women's World Championship, and the trios title match between Strickland's group and Page, King and Bandido. Andrade against Ciampa for the National Championship is expected to follow once Collision airs.
